Manukuse Secondary School in Bohlabela District gets transformed

The Department of Education said the changes in the school will benefit both the learners and community.

As part of the Departmental School Infrastructure Improvement Agenda, Manukuse Secondary School in the Matsavana Circuit, Bohlabela District, is getting a much-needed transformation.

On Friday February 23, the Mpumalanga Department of Education said impressive changes are taking shape, and that these were creating a brighter tomorrow for learners and teachers at the school.

The department’s spokesperson, Gerald Sambo, said this transformation includes the construction of eight classrooms that will offer a spacious and modern environment. “Three more classrooms for the foundation phase are rehabilitated. Enhanced security measures are put into place with the construction of a new guardroom and a perimeter fence around the whole school. In addition, three classrooms are getting renovated. These improvements are investments in the future of Manukuse Secondary School, its learners, teachers and the entire community,” he said.

Sambo said this transformation represent hope, opportunity and a commitment to providing the best possible learning and teaching environment. “This is just the beginning of an incredible journey for this school.
