KaBokweni schoolkids receive awards for their excellent achievements in 2024
The pupils who demonstrated exceptional progress, perseverance and leadership received special recognition at the prize-giving ceremony.
Bongamlambo Primary School held its annual prize-giving ceremony on Thursday, November 7 to honour the academic achievements of its outstanding pupils.
The occasion drew together proud parents, educators and community members to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the pupils during this academic year.
The ceremony recognised top-performing students in various subjects and categories, showcasing the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Awards were presented to the learners who excelled in mathematics, languages and sciences. Special recognition was also given to the pupils who demonstrated exceptional progress, perseverance and leadership.
The school principal, Ruphus Sibanyoni, emphasised the importance of acknowledging achievements. “We are proud of our learners’ accomplishments and grateful for the support of our teachers, parents and the community. This ceremony inspires our learners to strive for excellence and reach their full potential,” Sibanyoni said.

The highlight of the ceremony was a motivational address by a former learner of the school, Elia Sibiya. He aimed to inspire the learners with his personal journey to achieving academic success and the transformative power of education.
“Education is the key to unlocking your dreams. Believe in yourselves, work hard and never give up on your goals. You have the potential to achieve greatness, just like I did. I was once in your shoes, sitting in this very same assembly hall. Determination and hard work enabled me to overcome obstacles and achieve my goals. You can do the same,” he said.
