Malalane school celebrates its top learners at awards ceremony
The pupils of Horizon Academy were recently celebrated for their hard work this academic year.
Horizon Academy celebrated this last academic year by awarding the school’s top 10 and the best-performing learners in the various subjects.
The prestigious ceremony was hosted at the NG Kerk Malelane on October 25. The parents had the privilege of witnessing their children walk onto the stage to collect their awards in various categories.
“It is always pleasing to see the learners take pride in their work throughout the year and to witness them enjoying the fruits of their labour. Today we are patting them on the shoulder and encouraging them to continue excelling in their schoolwork,” said the principal, Johan Hennery.

“The teachers told me some of the other learners have already asked them how they can make it to next year’s top achievers. It is encouraging to see them take so much pride in their work and constantly trying to better their performance. As we forge on with the exams, we are confident they will perform to the best of their ability.”
