KwaMhlanga man killed in his car, police hunt for perpetrators
The SAPS urges anyone with information that may assist in its investigation to contact the Crime Stop number.
The police are investigating the death of Kosabo Thugwana (45), a member of Ndzundza-Fene Traditional Council, whose body was discovered in his Toyota Fortuner in KwaMhlanga on Sunday night, January 5.
The provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, said that Thugwana was found with multiple gunshot wounds and paramedics declared him dead on scene.
“The police seized some cartridges found at the scene. No arrests have been made, however, the SAPS assures the community that every effort is being made to solve this case. The motive for the shooting remains unknown at this stage,” Mdhluli said.

The police urge anyone with information to call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111 or to use the My SAPS app.
“All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous,” Mdhluli added.
