Youth build bridges to a brighter future at Mbombela expo

The youth expo offered skills development workshops and career guidance sessions.

The importance of youth involvement in shaping a sustainable and skilled future for South Africa’s infrastructure and development landscape, echoed throughout the Mbombela Civic Centre during the Youth in the Built Environment and Infrastructure Exhibition.

The Council for the Built Environment, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, hosted the expo on Saturday, June 14, to promote awareness, education and engagement among young people in the built environment and infrastructure sectors – both critical to national development and economic growth.

Through interactive exhibitions, skills development workshops and career guidance sessions, the expo served as a platform to ignite passion and create opportunities for young South Africans to become active contributors to the country’s construction, engineering and architectural future.
