New communcation for BCA
The Linden Neighbourhood Watch (LNW) and ADT security donated three hand radios to the Blairgowrie Community Association (BCA) on 23 July.

The radios will be used to improve communication between sector one which includes Blairgowrie and sector two which includes Linden.
LNW chairperson Fareed Hoosen said, “The BCA and Blairgowrie Residents Against Crime will have direct communication with us, ADT, the Linden police and each other. We hope this will help us prevent crime and to react faster to crime in progress.”
ADT community development manager Stephan Stander handed the radios over to co-chairperson of the Linden Community Police Forum sector two, Jed Kemery.
Kemery said, “We are very grateful for the radios. The LNW, ADT and the police do amazing work in the area and I think these radios will empower our community to communicate with each other.
“There has been a definite increase in crime and I believe these radios will have a huge impact on crime in the area. Thank you.”
