New president for Rotary
The Northcliff Rotary Club held their presidential induction on 13 July.

The event was held at the Randpark Golf Club and all the Rotary members and guests were dressed to impress.
Among the guests was well known television and radio presenter Patricia Glyn who received a Pual harris fellow award from Rotary District Governer Anneas Balt.
Several other awards were given to members who have made an exceptional contribution to Rotary and to the community. Among the members awarded was Ansie Hibberd as community builder of the year and Paul Westcott receive an outstanding service achievement award.
Outgoing president Dean Gouden reflected on the club’s achievements for the year which included the Rotary health days and several other community projects. The big moment though was the induction of new president Hans Mosert.
Mosert said, “I am very pleased to have been given this opportunity. Rotary is like a family to me and I know with the support of the members the next year is going to bring exiting things. Filling Gouden’s shoes going to be difficult.”
Gouden said, “I’d like to thank everyone for their unwavering support over my time as president.”
The evening was ended of with a performance from a local band Rough Silence.
