Gauteng Opera seeks new bass/baritone
JOBURG - Gauteng Opera is on the lookout for another golden voice to join the company.
Gauteng Opera is looking for a professional bass/baritone singer who will perform at corporate functions and as principal for stage productions.
Gauteng Opera is an all-round performing arts and entertainment company with specialties in opera productions, concerts and events. Driven by excellence in vocal performance and theatre, Gauteng Opera prides itself in being one of the foremost nurturers of experts and proponents for quality vocal performance and theatre practitioners.
The successful applicant should be aged between 22 and 30 and should be trained in classical music/opera or have performance experience.
The application must include the following: A high quality recording with both sound and image for selection purposes, of one aria and one cross-over song (for example songs by artists such as Il Divo, Amici, Josh Groban). Accepted formats are MPEG, MPG, MP4, WMV and kindly let the file size not be bigger than 5MB.
