Helen Joseph Hospital hosts open day

AUCKLAND PARK - Helen Jospeh Hospital aims to improve service delivery by improving relations with the communities it serves.

In a bid to strengthen the quality of service delivery and community relationships, Helen Joseph Hospital opened its doors to the public on 5 February.

The event celebrated the hospital’s achievements, exposed the community to the different amenities offered, and informed them of how the services work towards improving healthcare at the hospital.

“The hospital aims to provide the best healthcare for our communities,” said hospital chief executive Dr Raymond Billa.

“The public is urged to bring forward complaints so we can improve the quality of our service as well as to remedy situations where possible.”

“The community should also remember to give credit where it is due and complement our staff members when they perform at their best, so as to boost the morale of healthcare workers.”

Services that were showcased include speech and audiology, physiotherapy, podiatry, radiography and the renal unit.
