Walk this way with Westdene family 5km
WESTDENE - A great family day await you at the Westdene fun walk on 6 April.
A fabulous Family Fun Walk will take place on 6 April organised by the Westdene Residents Association in partnership with Ignition Health and the University of Johannesburg Sports.
The 5km walk is open to all ages, families, groups and dogs with prizes to be awarded to the most fun men and women walkers, most fun family team, most fun school group among other categories.
Walkers will pass through parts of Westdene and the university’s sports fields encountering lots of fun on the way. Alternative walk routes will be provided around challenging areas for those in wheelchairs or those who might find it less easy to walk across fields and bumpy terrain.
Proceeds go to the Friends of Melville Koppies, another reason to get dressed up in your most fun walking gear and come out for an energetic Sunday walk with your family.
