Little Squeaker dearly missed
WESTDENE - Squeaker the one-eyed kitten has been missing for six weeks.

“I call him Squeaker because he squeaks and he doesn’t miaou,” Xenia Kyriacon, owner of missing kitten Squeaker said on 12 June.
Squeaker was four months old when he went missing from his home in Glasgow Street, Westdene.
“Squeaker had an auspicious start in life,” Kyriacon recalled.
“He’s a success story, he was rescued from a group of recyclers by a group of squatters. The squatters then sold him to me. He’s a lucky kitten. He’s always been lucky. He must be about five months old now if he’s still alive,” Kyriacon said sadly.
The kitten disappeared on 4 May, and hasn’t been seen since.
“He’s missing an eye, which makes him so much more vulnerable than other cats. He’s such a mommy’s boy, he can’t look after himself,” she lamented.
Squeaker’s eye was damaged when Kyriacon rescued him, and the vet she took him to had to remove the eye. “He also has white fur and a black tail. He responds to cooing noises,” she said.
Kyriacon beseeches anyone who has seen the cat to let her know on 074 190 8324 or 011 673 1053. “If someone found his body or saw him getting killed by a car or dogs please call me, or even if you’ve found the cat and want to adopt it tell me – I just want to know,” she begged.
“I hope he’s okay.”
