SCP chairperson Dauw Steyn was very pleased with the positive turnout and congratulated the patrol’s attempts in keeping the area safe and secure during the festive season.

“Overall, we had a good and successful festive season,” said Steyn.

Steyn also wanted to thank all the voluntary patrol participants. “To all our patrollers a huge thank you. Your dedication and efforts have not gone unnoticed.”

The SCP plans on releasing comparative statistics with previous years’ crime figures as soon as they become available.
