VIDEO: UJ hosts Bicycle Route Activation
AUCKLAND PARK – The UJ Campus held an activation of the Cyclist Commuter route in their area on 19 March.
On 19 March the University of Johannesburg held a Bicycle Route Launch activation.
This was done in conjunction with the new Commuter Bicycle Map that will be launched in Johannesburg next year.
The route was a short 2km circular route to show cyclists how the new lanes will work.
Chairperson of the Johannesburg Urban Cyclists Association (JUCA) David du Preez said that the map will include various points of interest and it will make the cyclist commuters’ life easier.
“We believe that many commuter cyclists will find this map very useful,” concluded du Preez.
