Robbed at gunpoint

FAIRLAND — Armed robbers strike in broad daylight.

Police are on the lookout for three suspects who robbed a house in Willson Street, Fairland on 28 April.

According to Constable Michael Kgatla, spokesperson for Fairland Police station, a painter was held at gun point and ordered inside the house by the suspects.

“They took the TV, computer and other valuables. The painter was the only one on the scene at the time, the owner came afterwards,” Kgatla explained.

No arrests have been made at this point, but a case of armed robbery has been opened.

The suspects escaped in a silver BMW X5 with no registrations. Residents and community members with any information related to the case are encouraged to come forward with any information.
