Roosevelt Park substation causes outages again

Reports have come in that the Roosevlt Park substation has caused yet another massive power outage. The previous fault was less than two weeks ago on 20 April (See previous story)

According to City Power spokesperson Sol Masolo said, “The areas expected to be without power are; Roosevelt Park, Berario, Northcliff, Montgomery Park, Valeriedene and Blackheath.”

Masolo said it is a cable fault and the fault is still under investigations. Until such time the point of power restoration cannot be known.
