GALLERY: Talent in the spotlight
VICTORY PARK – Turn on the lights, cue the music for a Night of the Stars.
VICTORY PARK – Night of the Stars Talent Show took place at the De La Salle Holy Cross College High School on 25 July.
The pupils staged outstanding performances, including dancing, singing, acting – and even some traditional Highlands music. They performed with determination and courage on the ‘big stage’.

One of the comments overheard after the show was, “Wow, that was one of the best Night of the Stars I’ve seen in years.” Julia Pereira in Grade 12, one of the drama captains said, “I would like to commend all those who participated and special thanks to Mrs Judy Werth, the evening’s co-ordinator, and all the other members of staff, who made this event possible.”
Pereira further added, “To quote Mark Desvoux: ‘Don’t wait for the world to discover your talents. The world is waiting for you to reveal them’ – and that is exactly what the Night of the Stars celebrates.”
