A roaring success

VICTORY PARK – King David Victory Park Primary School hosted their annual end of year concert as they asked, Who's Who in the KD Zoo?

King David Victory Park Primary School recently hosted their annual end of year foundation phase concert.
The stage was filled with children dressed up as various animals, as this year’s play was Who’s Who in the KD Zoo.
The school’s campus marketing manager, Nirvana Rogers said that the evening brought a colourful bang to an otherwise rainy evening. “The learners entertained the audience with impeccable talent.” She added that the evening showcased various songs and dance about zoo animals.
Parents and family members were mesmerised by the confidence and passion the children showed as the bright stage lights shone warmly over them.

Rogers explained that great credit was due to them as they all memorised their lines and executed them perfectly. “For such young children to recall all their words was a credit to their powers of concentration.”
She shared that rehearsals that led up to the concert and the delivery of their acts on stage taught the children about the strength of working with others to create something together. “We are truly proud of the teamwork amongst these young artists.”
She also highlighted the great camaraderie that was exhibited when one performer forgot her lines and was immediately comforted with a spontaneous hug by a fellow cast member. “A pat on the shoulder by her fellow classmate as he mouthed silently ‘It’s okay’.” Rogers expressed how it was this kind of kinship displayed among the children which was heartwarming and left the audience with an immense sense of pride.
Rogers also commended the entire cast of Who’s Who in the KD Zoo on their enthusiasm and spontaneity. Their enjoyment was infectious.
