ROBINHILLS – The Linden police warn parents to be vigilant after a mother was hijacked after dropping her child off at school on 29 January.

According to Linden police spokesperson Constable Takalani Matumba, “Parents must always be vigilant when dropping their children at schools. Criminals know that that time is the busiest, with parents only focusing on the safety of their children, sometimes forgetting about themselves. We believe that is a reason why they are now targeting schools.”

The police are investigating a case of hijacking.
