LINDEN – Charity organisation Kindness Like Confetti are collecting packets of biscuits once again this year for those in retirement homes for Valentine’s Day.

Last year Kindness Like Confetti collected 1 152 gifts and were able to deliver these to about 16 different old aged homes. Founder of the non-profit charity organisation Alyson Samson said, “We decided to collect biscuits this year as times are tough and biscuits are a little less expensive, plus they don’t melt in this heat that we’ve been having!”

This year they hope to collect more packets of biscuits then last year’s number and donators are asked to gift wrap each packet of biscuit so that everyone receiving the gift feels special on the day. The project will end on 13 February.
