Two-vehicle collision on Beyers Naudé Drive leaves man in his 60s injured

NORTHCLIFF – A collision between two vehicles in Northcliff has left a man believed to be in his 60s seriously injured. 


A light motor vehicle was found by ER24 and another emergency services, lying in the middle of the road on its side following a collision

Russel Meiring from the communications office of ER24 said in a statement that the driver of the light motor vehicle was found on the side of the road.

“Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition,” said Meiring.

Meiring added that the man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
