Northcliff and surrounding areas to be without power

City Power will be having a eight hour planned power outage on 20 June.

The City of Johannesburg’s electrical service provider, City Power, is alerting the public of a planned power outage scheduled for 20 June. In a statement released from City Power, the interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work. The outage will take place between 8am and 4pm.

The following areas will be affected:

• Albertville Ext 1
• Berario
• Blackheath
• Blackheath Ext 1, 2, 3
• Northcliff
• Northcliff Ext 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 23,
• Fairland
• Fairland Ext 4
• Valeriedene

City Power are advising the public in these areas to treat their electrical supply points as live during these times as power supply could be resorted at any time. They also apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
