Three injured in taxi collision in Auckland Park
AUCKLAND PARK – According to Emer-G-Med, the collision involved two vehicles which were destructed by a third vehicle.
Emer-G-Med responded to a collision on the corner of Main Road and 1st Avenue on 31 August at around 7am.
Fatima Patel, a team member from Emer-G-Med confirmed that the accident involved three vehicles, including a taxi. “According to the taxi driver, a car suddenly stopped, blocking the Toyota Condor from being able to force brake on time, which caused the collision between the taxi and the Toyota Condor,” she said.
“We transported three patients who sustained mild injuries to the nearest hospital for further care.”
