Police and security conduct high visibility campaign amid protest concerns

FAIRLAND – Police and security companies have pledged support for one another as they work together to ensure residents safety amid growing unrest in Gauteng.

Fairland police, with the assistance of local security companies are currently conducting a high visibility campaign in the area.

The plan for the day is to ensure that shopping complexes and centres in the policing precinct are kept safe as looting across Gauteng continues. Police stated that this will also help to deter criminal activities such as hijackings, robberies and vandalism.

Police will continue to carry out their duties and ask members of the public to refrain from sharing fake and unverified news.
