Residents opens up about crime in their community

BOITUMELO MOTIMELE: In our community, we experience robbery and cars being stolen and as a result, it scares me as a woman to walk alone on the streets or even go to the shops alone.

Crime is taking its toll on the rise in our neighborhoods, the Northcliff Melville Times went out to ask the community how crime in the communities affects them.

This is what they had to say…

THAPELO NTHELI: Crime affects us in a way that when electrical cables are being stolen in our community, people would go for days without electricity and that to me is disturbing.
