3 arrested for stolen goods from a grocery store
Goods to the value of R3 million recovered at house in Mayfair
On July, 13 a suspect was arrested for theft of goods from a store in Fourways.
Lieutenant Colonel Mkhwanazi, Vispol Commander of Brixton Police Station, was then approached by the investigation team of the store where the goods were stolen from for assistance, according to spokesperson Jeanette Backhoff .

It was discovered after extensive interviews and follow-ups that a house in Mayfair West was identified as keeping the stock.
Police and investigators from the store went to the house where there was a tuck shop with boxes of goods being packed onto the shelves.

Two suspects, a male and a female, were arrested for possession of presumed stolen property with a value of R3 million.

Backhoff concluded, “Residents are reminded to report all illegal activities, and positive information dependent on police action, to our SAPS Crime Stop Hotline on 0860 010 111 or Brixton police on 011 248 5521.”
