Communities members headed to Auckland Park Preparatory School when the school celebrated the launch of its STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) Centre.
The sun setting as the event was held ushered in a new era for the young girls this centre is meant for.
Once the ribbon was cut and entrance into the centre was granted guests found themselves in a place future visionaries will now learn from.
Guests of the event were teachers, past and present as well as parents and appreciators of what the school has managed to build.
