Eeufees Oord retirement village was transformed into a sea of red as volunteers from the charity Kindness Like Confetti descended on the small village for Valentine’s Day.

The ‘Confetti Girls’ wanted to kick off 2024 with a bang says Claire Duvel. “We chose to spoil the golden oldies with a three-course meal in the little hall which we decorated for the occasion.”

Gorgeous handmade knitted gifts for Eeufees Oord residents.

The food was top notch says resident Aubrey Crowder. “We all had a lovely time hosted by such wonderful people who took time out of their busy lives to include us in such a lovely way.”

Residents of Eeufees Oord enjoy the spread put on by Kindness Like Confetti volunteers for Valentines Day.

“Our knitting and crochet team called The Joseph Jersey Project made up soap bags for residents. The soap saver bag doubles up as a light exfoliator and allows you to easily grip and control the slippery soap in the shower.”
