VOX POP: Residents speak about what they would tell politicians if given the chance.

The paper spoke to five residents who were not shy in their comments about how politicians are behaving before the election.

With the elections drawing ever closer, we spoke to some residents about their thoughts on what they would tell politicians if they could.

This is what they had to say:

Vivian Mafokwane: Loadshedding, really affects us in many ways, we can talk about jobs and everything else we need but as long as we are still in the dark nothing will change, that is what politicians should know.
Bafana Mlangeni: I want them to know that they need to do their research properly on the community needs and wants, and make sure to provide good service delivery to people as leaders.
Israel Amtioeh: Instead of being power hungry they should use their power to make South Africa better, starting by taking service delivery seriously, we have potholes, unnecessary power cuts, water-shedding, and a high rate of unemployment.
Tafadzwa Dzangwa: I want them to know this is not about them, please use your position and power to bring change to people who voted for you.
Cedric Styer: I think politicians should know that there are going to be a lot of people voting and hopefully the right party will win.
