VOX POP: Residents give their opinions on promises made by politicians during campaigns

Community members commented on the election promises made by the politicians during the elections.

The paper spoke to five residents asking if they believe politicians will deliver on promises they make or if it is just election speak that nothing will change.

This is what they had to say…

Petrus Labuschagne: The leading party has promised us a lot of things, but still we have load-shedding, water-shedding, etc, so regarding the political state I dont know maybe yes or no.
