The screening, which will be held at Beit Emanuel Slome Auditorium, will have audiences experience rarely seen Streisand at her most vulnerable. The acclaimed actress is described as having achieved a rarity at the outset of her career, achieving an EGOT, winning a Grammy, Tony, Emmy, and Oscar for her film debut, Funny Girl.
The documentary, with James Lipton as the host, has Streisand talk about her troubled childhood, the loss of her father at 15 months, and how he inspired her to make Yentl, a musical drama she directed, co-produced, co-wrote, and stared in.

Coupled with clips from some of her memorable movie moments, Streisand reflects candidly on working with Robert Redford in The Way We Were and the remake of A Star is Born for a contemporary generation, for which she would achieve a second Oscar for the soundtrack hit song, Evergreen. Naturally, her music career is also covered.
It is said she is the only female artist to have a top selling album in each decade of her legendary career. As an octogenarian who remains tireless in her communal quests, her recent autobiography: My Name is Barbra, is ranked as one of the most eagerly anticipated memoirs by her millions of fans.
