The day’s events started early, with participants gathering at the bowls club at 08:00 to start the day off with a hearty breakfast. Thereafter, they moved on to the Roosevelt Mache Course for some four-ball golf.

After that, they headed back to the bowls club, where, after a great lunch at Bev’s Burgers, they played some afternoon bowls. Playing two games with nine ends in teams of fours.

At the end of a great day of playing the sports they love, participants were rewarded with the promise of grand prizes, the presence of awesome company, and time spent enjoying what recreational amenities Roosevelt Park has to offer.

About 32 people took part in this first-of-its-kind challenge, which had such a huge turnout that it’ll probably take place again a few times before the year’s end.
