Managing director Andre Aiton highlighted that the initiative aims to create 3 000 Christmas gift boxes for children living in less-fortunate communities. “For many recipients, these boxes will be the only Christmas gift they receive, serving as a reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten during the holiday season.”
The project is calling on the public to donate essential items, including empty Christmas boxes, gift wrap, toys such as dolls, cars and puzzles, as well as yoyos and balls. Organisers said these simple items have a powerful impact, helping children experience joy, laughter and moments of connection.

Donations can be dropped off at Beagle Watch’s head office in Fairland, with the deadline set for December 18. Members of the public who are unable to deliver items in person can contact the organisation to arrange collection.
Beagle Watch has encouraged the community to take part, saying that every contribution, no matter the size, plays a role in making Christmas meaningful for a child in need.
