A first day to be joyful about at Northwest Christian School

From morning smiles to playground giggles, Northwest Christian School’s Grade 1 learners embraced their first day of school with confidence, kindness, and curiosity.

The corridors of Northwest Christian School were filled with excitement as Grade 1 learners arrived for their very first day as “big school” learners. From carefully packed lunches to brand-new pencils, everything about the day felt special.

Teachers greeted leaners with gentle smiles that seemed to help ease any first-day nerves. Inside the classrooms, Grade 1s gathered in anticipation of what the year ahead would have them experience. One can only imagine what new perspective the view from that tiny desk will conjure within each of them. A new world, maybe, one blessed day filled with great learning through stories, conversation, and positive experiences.
