Auckland Park Preparatory School picnic day hits all the right notes

From talented young musicians to Tamara Dey's headline performance, the APPS music picnic once again united nearly 1 000 visitors for a day of music, family fun and community spirit.

The Auckland Park Preparatory School (APPS) Music Picnic once again transformed the school into a vibrant celebration of live music, family entertainment and community spirit as families, alumni, prospective parents and friends gathered for the school’s much-loved annual event.

The campus was transformed into a lively festival atmosphere where picnic blankets covered the lawns and children eagerly explored carnival rides, inflatable attractions, games, prize stations and the school’s new 40m playground.

While families enjoyed picnic lunches and sampled food from local vendors, the spotlight remained firmly on the music. Beyond the entertainment, the event also supported the school’s construction of a heated international aquatics-standard swimming pool for future generations of APPS learners.
