Learning that goes to infinity and beyond
De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School held a flexible learning day that encouraged curiosity and deep thinking.
Children from De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School went ‘To infinity and beyond’ during their recent flexible learning day.
The Toy Story-themed topic reminded learners that there are no boundaries to what they can become or where they can go.

The child-centered flexible learning approach is said to spark curiosity, investigation, and design thinking.
Each grade devised a driving question, and through metacognition, applying past knowledge to new situations, questioning, and problem-solving, they made progress toward reaching their goals.

“The day was filled with excitement, love for learning, taking risks, and discovery. It highlighted that they must look beyond their current circumstances and embrace the possibilities that await them. Using creativity and imagination, we can move forward and make progress in reaching our potential and inevitably change the world,” said deputy head of the junior school Mandy Gopal.
