No De La Salle Holy Cross College School’s Grade 7 learners or staff were harmed in the making of this story, nor in the building of their very own volcanoes.

The class is said to have had loads of fun as they exhibited their colourful volcanoes.

Learning about volcanoes is important as it teaches earth science. It also helps learners understand the basics of tectonic plates, the composition of the earth, the role of molten lava and the impact of volcanic eruptions on life.

The school was proud to report that no Grade 7s (nor staff) were harmed in the process.
