Fairland market returns for eighth edition
On May 25, the Fairland Market, where over 200 vendors showcase the local foods, crafts, and community spirit, all for a great cause, returns to Fairland.
The Fairland Market, which began as a Spring Day market in 2019, is gearing up for its eighth edition, set to take place on May 25.
Rodney Maggs, treasurer of the Community Policing Forum (CPF), expressed pride in the market’s growth, stating: “This market has evolved from its original concept of about 60 stalls to today, where we boast over 200 stalls.”

Held twice a year in May and October, the Fairland Market has become a vibrant community event, showcasing a diverse range of vendors offering everything from food products, to arts and crafts, beads, and honey. Local security companies and property practitioners are also present, promoting their services and fostering community engagement.
Visitors can enjoy the well-appointed food court, featuring Halaal options, providing meals throughout the day accompanied by relaxing music. Best of all, there is no entrance fee, making it accessible for everyone in the community.
