“Marvel at the systematic theft, deliberate destruction, and miraculous survival of countless works of art during the hedonistic era of the Third Reich,” said society co-founder Selwyn Klass. “Some 80 years later, the scenario continues, as irreplaceable treasures are still being sourced, authenticated, and returned to their rightful owners. Many plundered by the Nazis from prominent Jewish homes.”
Klass explained the theft was masterminded by Dr Joseph Goebbels, minister of propaganda, to establish a new order in the Nazification of culture.

“Whilst Hitler and his henchmen were methodically hoarding, on the front line a special force known as: ‘the Monuments Men’, comprising curators and art historians from America and Britain, risked their lives to ingeniously hide rare paintings and sculptures, considered by the Reich as ‘degenerate’, from destruction.”
The Rape of Europa is a race against time, in a selfless heroic mission to preserve what the world would have lost. A testament to the tenacity of the human spirit.
