SA is going backwards – We need Action.

No matter what anyone says, this is a crisis.City management needed to communicate more and notify all concerned of the problems and contingency plans and when the issue will be resolved. It is also a health risk as you need water to wash waste away and to survive.

If this happened in any other country such as the UK, USA, Australia etc, this would be a national emergency and residents would have been refunded with their utilities bill.

How can Johannesburg be called a ‘World class African city’ when we don’t even have any water?

SA is going backwards. 20 years ago we were the darling country of the World. The government departments are not taking any responsibility.

No-one wants to visit a country that has no water, no electricity, has refuse strewn everywhere, a non working postal system, traffic lights that do not work for months, has no big five as the Rhinos have all been poached, a parliament that is the laughing stock of the world, and a president who is just not interested in our country’s domestic issues as he is overseas.

No tourism means no income.

Thus SA will become one of the poorest countries of the world soon – unless the powers that be act fast and act now – before it is too late.

It is a very very sad situation for all of us.

Where is the pride for our land and it’s citizens?
