I read with interest the letter regarding Cresta parking charges.

Due to the new charges, we no longer shop at Cresta as it is too expensive to park and we cannot afford the parking charge on a limited budget, add to this the fact that not all the lifts and escalators work all the time, it is difficult to get from floor to floor.
As regard overcharging of parking, this has often happened. Recently I was charged R10 for parking on the roof for 25 minutes!
If you park for just under three hours it is normally charged at R10.
