SA Ballroom winners from one dance studio
LINDEN – Dance Culture Studio is proud to announce seven of their dancers as South African champions.
Dance Culture Studios announced that some of their students are winners of the SA Ballroom and Latin championships that were hosted on 5 December.
Dance Culture Studio’s marketing manager Kim Jansen said the studio based in Linden, and owned by television choreographer and International Adjudicator (Top 12 in the world) Quintus Jansen, aims to use dancing to instil culture in the surrounding community.
“We have a massive social dancing community, so this is for everyone,” said Kim.
Quintus, who is an undefeated SA Ballroom and Latin American Ten Dance Champion, said his vision is to raise the standard of dance in South Africa and also to ensure the fun in dancing is not lost.
“I want to teach people how to dance well but still have fun on a competitive and social level,” said Quintus.
He further said by the looks of the championship results it seems as if he is achieving his goal.
“I am very proud of my dancers and how well they have done,” said Quintus.
The winners were Liz Jacobs, JP Robinson, Kristy-Lee Mansfield, Jennifer Ching, Mia Kennard, Mark Pearce, Anthony Hovy and Tiasha Reddy.
