Watch: Lifetime releases trailer for Oscar Pistorius movie
Lifetime has released the first trailer for “Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer”, a biopic about the rise and fall of SA Paralympian Oscar Pistorius.
The film is set to be released in November 2017. Pistorius is played by Andreas Damm and Toni Garrn plays Reeva Steenkamp, his late supermodel girlfriend. The film was written by Amber Benson, who is best known for playing Tara on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Pistorius was convicted of murdering his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day in 2013. He is currently sentenced to six years in prison but may receive a harsher punishment after an upcoming hearing which will take place just days before the release of the Lifetime film.
