RMB Starlight Classic will brighten up your weekend
AUCKLAND PARK – Organisers have issued out a sound advisory as several sound checks will happen before the event.
The annual Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) Starlight Classic evenings involving the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra and more musical scores will take place this weekend on 7 and 8 September at The Country Club in Auckland Park.
Looking for some cheer and beautiful sounds after a tough week? Well the RMB Starlight Classic 2019 promises to be a treat, some musical guests include international tenor Gaston Rivero, award-winning songstress Zahara, Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini winner for soprano Nombulelo Yende, all accompanied by Chanitcleer Singers and Quava.
The event will have a couple of sound checks before the event takes place and RMB marketing and communications manager Nikki Espley said the orchestra will have some sound checks, a possible increase in sound levels for residents living in around Napier Road in Auckland Park near the venue.
On Thursday, 5 September there will be a technical run of the full program and sound checks between 6.30pm and 10.30pm.
On 6 September there will be a final dress rehearsal between 6.30pm and 10.30pm.
