Local blood buddies get giving

Between 11am and 6pm, 65 units of life saving plasma were collected

On Thursday, November 12, 74 proud plasma donors attended the monthly blood donor clinic hosted by the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) at the town hall.

Between 11am and 6pm, 65 units of life saving plasma were collected and three new blood buddies were welcomed. SANBS staff and the Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank all donors for taking the time to save lives, despite their busy schedules.

They would further like to thank donors for their support of the worthy cause and making last Thursday’s monthly blood clinic a liquid loving success.

Save December 10, on your calendar as the SANBS team will be hosting their next monthly blood clinic on the day, at the town hall.
