Blood buddies do it again

71 attended the clinic, 58 units of blood were collected and five new blood donors were welcomed

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) hosted their first monthly blood donor clinic at the town hall on Thursday, January 14.

Between 11am and 6pm residents streamed in to help save lives. 71 attended the clinic, 58 units of blood were collected and five new blood donors were welcomed.

SANBS nursing staff and the Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain thank all donors for their support, which helped make the clinic a success.

If you missed this past monthly bleed, be sure to attend the next one in February.
