Blood donors heed the call

29 donors attended, 25 pints were donated and six new-comers were welcomed

The call to donate a pint of life-saving blood was heeded on Sunday. Dozens of locals visited the donor clinic, which was held at the Forderville Primary School hall.

Hosted by the South African National Blood Service in partnership with the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation of South Africa (Estcourt Sai Centre), the clinic was well-supported.

29 donors attended, 25 pints were donated and six new-comers were welcomed. The Estcourt Sai Centre thanks everyone who donated blood and welcomes the new donors.

The next blood donor clinic at the school hall will be held on April 2 from 10am until 2pm. See you there.
