Runners sprint into the sunset run

Fitness enthusiasts braved the afternoon chill and took on the Sunset Fun Run on Friday, June 16.

The five kilometre run began at Newcastle Corner, and took entrants onto the D96 and back.

They also enjoyed free refreshments courtesy of Superspar and Thirsti water.

Factory Plaza gave supporters of the Sunset run, the opportunity to have their photo taken with its mascot, Chipmunk.
