ML Class of ’89 reunited at Battlefields
The afternoon began with excited classmates meeting at the school, reminiscing about past experiences, lots of pictures and laughter once again echoing in the corridors.
Thirty years later ML Sultan Glencoe Secondary School Class of 1989 reunited to celebrate friendship and to walk down memory lane.
“Although many could not make it on this special day those that did come had a memorable day,” said reunion organiser, ‘Tonty’ Tontpal.
The formal reunion took place at Battlefields Country Lodge, and with retired principal, Ben David and teachers Mr Rajkumar, Mrs Singh and Ms Jilmeet were also present.
Tonty, who now works for the EMRS, said: “It felt like just the other day that we were saying our goodbyes to our classmates and teachers at ML Sultan Glencoe Secondary School, looking forward to the future with mixed emotions.”

Tribute was also paid to deceased teachers and classmates. Good food, great entertainment and the rest is history as they say.
