Saturday, October 19:
7:00am: Gates open for stall holders.
9:30am: Parade forms in Ann St behind Purcell’s Engineering.
10:00am: Parade through Dundee, led by the Caledonian Pipe Band; Colour Party with numerous flags, mascots, re-enactors, veteran and vintage cars and Harley Davidson motorbikes in Victoria Street, Dundee.
10:50am: Parade from gates of museum; flags will be planted in the cemetery for the day.
10:30am – 5pm: Talana Museum.

05:00am: Arrive top of Mpati Mountain – MOTHs will be selling breakfast rolls and coffee.
5:20am – 6:45am: Talk on battle of Talana by Kevin Burge with some unique sound effects.
9:00am – 10:30am: Dundee Heritage Trail by Pam McFadden – walk and talk the history of central Dundee. Wreath-laying at General Sir William Penn Symons’ grave, St James, and also at the Dutch Reformed Church to commemorate the Boer casualties.
11:00am – 3:00pm: Optional extra paid tours 4:45pm: Arrive at Talana Museum.
5:00pm: Battle of Talana and El Alamein parade – wreath-laying; commemoration of soldiers who died in this battle; MOTH El Alamein parade; Irish regiments and Talana wreath-laying.
5:20pm: Anniversary Ghost Walk led by Pam McFadden – follow in the footsteps of the British soldiers up Talana Hill.
