Youth host Diwali celebrations
Groups from the different temples and organisations all did a piece on stage, as they sang, danced and played musical instruments
The Young Hindu Cultural Service Society hosted their Deepavali Celebration at the Civic Hall on Sunday.
The event took place over the course of the morning and showcased the talent of Hindu youth from the community. Groups from the different temples and organisations all did a piece on stage, as they sang, danced and played musical instruments.
Prayers were also said in celebration of Diwali. The event was MC’d by Mr Mo Morar and the audience was entertained by the Prakash Orchestra. The Ramakrishna Centre served a lunch of breyani, salad and sweets at the hall.
A great morning was had by all who attended and took part in the festivities.
